Gallery: Cottage Garden
Mike and Wendy had purchased extra land, originally used as an allotment. They wanted to reduce lawn maintenance and increase planting interest while unifying and harmonising the space into rooms.
This appears to be a typical cottage garden, however, its sucess lies in strong geometric ground pattern and a mixture of contemporary and traditional planting.
The result is an interesting and informal space with a sense of mystery around every corner.
