Garden Maintenance Programme
Over the last two years Jane has had so many enquiries for maintenance programmes from both existing and new clients she has decided to extend her garden design business to offer this service. It has taken some time to find professional horticulturalists who are capable of working on their own initiative and have the extent of knowledge required to maintain the gardens to a high standard. These horticulturalists will be primarily responsible for the plants and vegetable gardening.
In conjunction with this she is able to recommend contractors to maintain the lawns and hedging and arboriculturalists to advise on tree surgery.
Each job is personally assessed and a programme of works is tailored to suit each clients' needs. This might be a regular weekly, or monthly, visit or in some cases a spring and autumn tidy up with one or two visits in between.
Both the horticulturalists and contractors are able to work on their own initiative and Jane will occasionally visit the site to oversee the overall schedule of works, whilst maintaining close contact at all times with both the client and workers.
