Gallery: Modern house
A Modern house, built sympathetically in Cotswold stone. The garden was on a slope and to overcome this Jane built a deck in a series of platforms culminating in a larger area for sitting, at the higher level.
A stream runs along the side of the steps to add sound and attract wildlife. This is also reflected in the planting.
The clients desire was for a space offering peace and tranquillity - an escape from the pressures of city life.
